Timothy L Kerwin, MD, FACRO, is a strong patient advocate and believes in the integration of compassionate care with the latest technology. In his two decades of practice, he has come to stress a multidisciplinary approach to ensure treatment recommendations are made with careful consideration to achieve superior outcomes. Active in clinical oncology research, Dr. Kerwin has presented at national meetings and has several publications to his credit. Dr. Kerwin has been chairman of the NCH Cancer Committee since 2014 and has served as Division Chief of Radiation Oncology at Physician’s Regional Medical Center since 2012. He has been named a Castle-Connolly Top Doctor every year since 2015.

Dr. Kerwin is great.I went there for prostate cancer to get radiation. He read the scans and found two other cancers that I have that no other doctors found on the scan. He called it opening up pandoras box.He got a team of doctors together that are the best oncologist and ENT surgeon. I had two prostate derived cancer tumors on my pelvis. Dr. Kerwin and his physician assistant were very patient and polite with my questions relating to the situation, and the concerns that I had regarding the radiation treatment that I received. His responses were thorough and presented in a manner that I could easily understand. I did not feel rushed in our meetings and he took the necessary time to explain the procedure and intended outcome. Both he and his assistant were empathetic to my plight. The medical staff in the radiation room were very courteous and acted professional at all times during my radiation sessions. I had a very positive experience in his care during this stressful period, and fortunately, a positive outcome occurred from the treatment I received.

I met with Dr. Pollock. She was absolutely wonderful, thoughtful, caring, & kind. She helped sort through the options and even though it ended up I did not need Radiation, the time she took to help me think it through was so healing! She is attentive to every detail and extremely knowledgeable. I wish she would be available to be a primary care physician in the Naples area because she’s so wonderful. What a wonderful, blessing she is to this community!

I was able to consult with Dr Nakfoor the day after I was referred to him by my oncologist. He and his team were very responsive and thorough. Dr Nakfoor promised he would further consult immediately with other doctors regarding my treatment and that he would give me an answer the next day. He did just that. Impressive.

The service we received was good and most appointments were on time. Beware of their billing practices. Unlike most providers in the Naples area Inspire had an exemption whereby they could bill us for a portion of the amounts unpaid by my PPO. My wife had 5 treatments for which the bill was around $33,000.00. The PPO paid approximately $27.000 and Inspire is seeking around $1,700.00 from her. This was never explained to us prior to treatment and did not give us a chance to seek other providers which may not have this policy.

Diagnosed with HPV related P16 positive cancer at the base of my tongue December 2022, I was left with choosing treatment options. When I met Dr. Tim Kerwin and saw the facility, including the happy fellow patients in the waiting room, there was no question. I did my 7 weeks and every day was a pleasure made possible by the wonderful staff. I’ve just had my 6 month PET CT and am free of any signs of recurrence. My first experience with any type of radiation. Dr. Nakfoor and his staff were extremely understanding and kind. It could not have been a more positive experience, considering why I needed to be there. I was very grateful for the care that I received there. Unfortunately, they did not have the exercise facility there when I was being treated. I wish they did. I think it would’ve been very beneficial for a My leg. But it wasn’t there then. But every thing that they had for the patients care….well, you couldn’t ask for more. Very grateful. Thank you Inspire. Oncology. 🌷

I was given much information about the procedures and activities surrounding my radiation treatments. The staff was courteous and comforting during a very frightening experience for me. My doctor was thorough in explanations, and he was very personable. What I wasn’t prepared for was what the after effects of radiation might do to me. I wasn’t prepared for was the awful condition my skin developed. It was burned, itchy and broken out beyond belief. I used ice the first night, but when I spoke with the technician the next day, she said absolutely no ice. The recommended creams provided no help. I feel I should have been better prepared for what I experienced in the way of pain. I hardly slept for several nights. I went through several creams before I got relief from a prescription from the radiologist-silvadene.Also, the first weekend when I was hurting so badly, I called the number given to me. No one returned my call.

Walling in with my cancer condition I felt very welcomed and that feeling grew as my 28 sessions continued. I was always greeted at the front desk with a smile and ready to offer assistance I may need. The technicians working with me each visit made me feel like i was their only patient. And of course, Dr Hanus, was always ready to spend as much time time with me as I may have required - I never felt rushed and received all answers (good or bad) very thoroughly which I appreciated. A very well run organization who treats each patient as an individual - not a number.
