A Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame in 1987, Dr. Nakfoor attended the prestigious University of Michigan Medical School and performed his medical residency through Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital program from 1992 – 1995. He was appointed Chief Resident of this program, and following completion in 1996, Dr. Nakfoor moved to Naples to practice radiation oncology. He has served the Naples community with world-class care as the most experienced radiation oncologist in Collier County ever since. While receiving his specialty training at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Nakfoor spent an entire year in the laboratory performing basic science research on prostate cancer treatments. He has spoken at multiple national and international cancer conferences and has published over a dozen peer-reviewed cancer research papers.
