Dr. Sonal Sura is a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist. She earned her MBA from New York University, earned her medical degree at George Washington University, completed a research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, and residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, New York. She is versed in all major modalities of radiation therapy cancer treatment, including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery.

Dr. Kerwin is great.I went there for prostate cancer to get radiation. He read the scans and found two other cancers that I have that no other doctors found on the scan. He called it opening up pandoras box.He got a team of doctors together that are the best oncologist and ENT surgeon. After several procedures, he last PET scan was
great and I have a good and new outlook on life. THANK YOU Dr Kerwin

I had two prostate derived cancer tumors on my pelvis. Dr. Kerwin and his physician assistant were very patient and polite with my questions relating to the situation, and the concerns that I had regarding the radiation treatment that I received. His responses were thorough and presented in a manner that I could easily understand. I did not feel rushed in our meetings and he took the necessary time to explain the procedure and intended outcome. Both he and his assistant were empathetic to my plight. The medical staff in the radiation room were very courteous and acted professional at all times during my radiation sessions. I had a very positive experience in his care during this stressful period, and fortunately, a positive outcome occurred from the treatment I received.
